About NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group

Program for adults 18 years and older living with mental illness.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is expanding in communities throughout the country. These NAMI Atlanta / Auburn Support group in Atlanta provides a place that offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope. NAMI Connection group offers a casual and relaxed approach to sharing the challenges, and success of coping with mental illness.

Connections Support Group NAMI Atlanta / Auburn is offered free of charge, follows a flexible structure without an educational format, does not recommend or endorse any psychotropic medication or therapeutic models of therapy and it uses NAMI’s Principles of Support as the cornerstone of what we believe about the illness.

Confidentiality is adhered to and you are free to share as much or as little personal information as  you wish.

As a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, The Connections Group will be held via conference calling.*

INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN THE MEETING:

It is the policy of NAMI Georgia to use conference calling through the “Freebridge” system during the COVID pandemic until further notice.

a. Call (717) 908-1543. Please try to call a few minutes prior to the meeting.

c. You will be connected to the meeting. Once connected, please state your first name to announce your arrival.

About NAMI Atlanta / Auburn

Our Purpose: Educating individuals in Georgia about mental illness in order to improve resources, services and knowledge by reducing misinformation and stigma that is often times associated with mental illness.
