I am a Master Level Social Worker with over 20 years of providing services and programs to individuals and families identified as underserved by society. I received my Masters in Social Work from Boston College and my Bachelors of Art from Emmanuel College. My career has afforded me with opportunities to build relationships with state, county, For Profit, and Non-Profit entities.
I have recognition from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Parole Board and Clayton County Court Appointed Special Advocate from the International Association of Certified Anger Management Specialists.
I am the president of the NAMI Atlanta/Auburn Affiliate. My professional and educational expertise enables me to empower individuals and families to learn healthy ways to improve how they cope with the unpredictability of caring for or providing support, and locating services for individuals experiencing mental illness and substance abuse. I have successfully accomplished this in my own life.
